Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa admits he turned down an offer from Brighton last month.
Camarasa left Levante for Betis last summer and attracted an approach over January from the Seagulls.
"There was the possibility of leaving," said the 24 year-old, "but among all we knew the best thing is to continue to contribute to reach the proposed objectives and finish the project we've started.
"I had a lot of teams wanting me when I joined Betis and the club knows I made an effort to come and rejected very big teams and my hope is to win at Betis and help get Betis back to the top."
