Real Betis midfielder Rodri Sanchez admits Nabil Fekir's injury has helped him.

Spain U21 international Rodri has impressed since the New Year in the absence of Fekir.

He said, "Without Fekir, I am playing in a more suitable position for me. I am being seen more. That is the position that stands out to me the most and that best suits my characteristics.

"I'm a bit of a creator. There isn't the same creator in the squad like Nabil or (Sergio) Canales and maybe if he's not there, the one most similar to that creator is me.

"One day I hope to reach their height.

"From the beginning, this year I have had many more opportunities. The coach has given me confidence."
