Real Betis have January plans for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos

Real Betis have plans to bring Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos back to the club in January.

After two seasons away on-loan with Arsenal, Ceballos returned to Madrid this past summer, but he isn't in the plans of new coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Instead, Ceballos is ready to leave in January and AS says he's excited by the prospect of returning to former club Betis.

Betis will need to shift out some fringe players to make room in their budget for the Spain U21 international, however there is a confidence a deal can be reached.

Ceballos left Betis in 2017 for Real Madrid in a deal worth €16m.
