Real Betis are expected to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha today.

Sport says Rafinha will move to Betis on a season-long loan for a €1.5m fee.

The two clubs will this morning haggle over a price to make the deal permanent. Barca have dropped their asking price from €30m to €25m, but Betis remain determined to drive that down even further.

Betis have also agreed to cover 100 per cent of Rafinha's wages for the 12-month loan.

The agreement is a blow for Benfica, which were offering far more than Betis to take the midfielder to Portugal this week.
