Real Betis defender Junior Firpo is grateful for the support network he has.

Firpo has been linked with Real Madrid, but insists friends and family are just happy to see him succeeding with Betis.

He told Marca: "My friends go crazy because I'm lucky enough to be a footballer for Betis and they've come to the Villamarin.

"They watched me in my first game as a professional against Real Madrid, I remember that the stadium as incredible, I'd been in the stands lots of times but I never imagined that it could be like this o the pitch, I told them.

"Now lots of my friends are Betis fans, they didn't have a team, they supported Malaga a bit but now they've become Betis fans."
