Real Betis coach Quique Setien has urged Leo Messi not to rush his comeback.
Messi, having recovered from an elbow injury, sat out Barca's draw at Champions League opponents Inter Milan last night - with Betis his next game.
Setien joked: "I think Messi should wait, I would not put him at risk, then the international break comes, he has two more weeks and any fall can turn that into a serious problem that has important consequences.
"There's two competitions and he does not need to take risks, but I like to see him on the field, that's clear, I enjoy watching him."
Setien also admits he wanted to sign Barcelona midfielder Rafinha last summer.
"It's true that we would have liked him a lot because Rafinha had perfectly understood what we do, he was born like that, but any good player adapts quickly."
