Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini is delighted with their swoop for Leicester City striker Ayoze Perez.

Perez arrived at Betis on deadline day.

Pellegrini said: "He's going to give us what we need: a goal.

"Having different positions, it's also important to be a player who can play in various positions, so he will be important."

Referring to Betis' attacking problems, he said: "As a team the offensive part has been complicated for us, firstly because of the number of fouls we receive, they cut us off many plays.

"Against Getafe there were 25 fouls, 21 were to go to their field. We must continue to have mobility, try to produce as much as possible and we work on that."
