Reading striker Leroy Lita could face Bolton on Saturday after stepping up his recovery from a bizarre injury sustained when he got out of bed.
The 22-year-old strained his flexor muscle near his hip and missed the start of the season, but he is closing in on a return to add firepower to Reading's attack.
"I started kicking the ball on Monday so I'm going to train and see how it goes," he said. "I hope to be fit enough for Bolton, I feel fine and the injury feels okay.
"There's still a little bit there but I can do all the kicking and other things and I'm feeling good and ready to go."
