Reading winger Stephen Hunt is expected to have a Hull City medical today.

The Hull Daily Mail says Reading's director of football Nick Hammond confirmed a fee had been agreed, with the club happy to see Hunt leave the Madejski Stadium in a bid to reduce their wage bill.

Hunt's reported £30,000-a-week deal at the Royals still has three years to run.

But having missed out on promotion back to the Championship, he has been decreed an expensive luxury.
