Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt fears being forgotten if the club is relegated.

The Republic of Ireland midfielder has won plaudits for his impressive displays this season.

He was also linked with Sunderland before opting to stay at the Royals.

Hunt said: "You are soon forgotten about. We're fighting for our lives and fighting for a lot of people's jobs, I'd imagine.

"But, hopefully, we can put their minds at rest come Saturday.

"It will go to the last day of the season before we are safe. It's a situation we don't like.

"But, hopefully, we can get the win against Spurs at home, have a good week's training and make sure everyone is fit and raring to go."
