Reading midfielder James Harper admits cooking his own breakfast almost led to him killing himself ... sort of!

Royals midfielder Harper suffered after scoffing some dodgy bangers on Sunday.

He said: "I didn't cook the sausages enough. I had the runs and felt sick.

"I thought I was going to die and would be subbed at half-time. I can't do it again!"
