Reading are keen on Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori.

The Guardian says Reading boss Jaap Stam is keen to take llori, 23, on loan with a view to a permanent transfer in the summer.

Ilori joined Liverpool from Sporting Lisbon in a deal worth up to £7m in 2013.

Liverpool are open to letting Ilori leave with the centre-back reportedly not currently in Jurgen Klopp's first-team plans.

He is spending his time with Liverpool's Under-23 side and has made eight appearances for Mick Garrity's side this term.
