Reading striker Simon Church has admitted that being linked with a move to the Premier League has boosted his confidence levels. Impressive displays against Liverpool and Burnley in the Cup have altered other club's to the talents of the 21 year old.
He told skysports: "Obviously, it is a great confidence boost to hear my name linked with Premier League clubs, but I'm happy playing Championship football week in, week out at Reading and I feel that I need that behind me before I even think about making the step up.
"Playing in the Premier League would obviously be a dream come true, as it is for most players, but at this stage I'm still gaining experience and learning my trade.
"If that opportunity comes up then I will consider it at that time, but for now I just want to keep learning and help the club out of the situation it is in at the moment."
