Reading defender Andre Bikey has reportedly passed a medical with Burnley.
The Cameroon international is now close to completing a move to Turf Moor if Royals boss Brendan Rodgers agrees to sell.
Clarets boss Owen Coyle has offered Reading £2.8million for Bikey who is looking to play at a higher level to give him a better chance of making Cameroon's World Cup squad.
"He has many competitors in the Cameroon squad, who he may feel will be in front of him unless he's playing at the highest level," Rodgers told the Reading Post.
"This is a World Cup year, those in the international reckoning will feel that they have to be playing at the very highest level to have a chance to go to a World Cup."
