Reading are lining up a sensational move for Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell.

The Sunday Mirror says the former Arsenal trainee has started just six League games at Stamford Bridge and Reading boss Steve Coppell is looking to loan him back in the January window.

Sidwell is also being trailed by Portsmouth, Sunderland and Newcastle.
