Reading and Russian international striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has confirmed he would like to stay in England despite reported interest from clubs in Russia. When quizzed on his future, the 29 year old revealed he would consider offers from his native Russia but staying in England would be his preferred choice.

"Of course I'll check all the offers," he told rsport.ru. "Top teams from Russia? Of course I want to have a look at them.

"But I didn't expect I would be in a situation like this. Of course, I'd prefer staying in England."
