Reading boss Steve Coppell believes their problems this season is that they've simply overachieved.

"If this was our first year, people would be saying we'd had a real good go," said Coppell. "In comparison to last year people wonder what's gone wrong. Look at the size of us - we are punching way above our weight.

"This is our second season in the Premier League. It's not as though there's a rich history of competing at the very top level."
