Reading boss Ince happy with Casadei on debut

Chelsea loanee Cesar Casadei put in a mixed display on his debut for Reading.

The former Inter Milan star went out on loan to the Championship club late in the January transfer window.

He went right into their starting line up and played for 55 minutes for Paul Ince against Watford for their 2-2 draw.

"He was good - he has a lot of energy which you expect from a 20-year-old kid," Ince told BBC Radio Berkshire post-match.

"But the Championship is tough - it is not like at Chelsea where you're playing in the U21s or U23s.

"The Championship is tough but that is why he is here. He is here to learn and develop and I was very pleased with what he has done in such a short space of time."
