Reading boss Steve Coppell is attempting to play down the significance of tomorrow's battle with relegation rivals Derby County.
He said: "It is a big game, there's no point hiding away from it. Every home game this season is significant.
"But in a way this one game has taken on too much significance. People are reading too much into the significance of the three points. It is being magnified beyond reality - it is one of 38 opportunities to win.
"It's important, don't get me wrong, but most people - and perhaps dangerously us - might all be looking at this as one of our best chances to get three points.
"I remember Watford at home last season, people thinking it was an automatic win, but it doesn't work like that. We have to be mindful that our preparation is on the right course, and we're not overconfident or over-expectant."
