Reading boss Steve Coppell admits Leroy Lita was reluctant to play against Tottenham in Saturday's 2-2 FA Cup draw.

Lita fears being Cup-tied will prevent him from getting a move away this month, but Coppell says: "He just feels that he is not getting an opportunity and he did say he would perhaps prefer not to play.

"I said that 'you play for us and we pay your wages. You have a commitment to this club'. He showed his professionalism."
