Reading have confirmed that US International winger Bobby Convey has left the club by mutual consent to allow him to pursue his career elsewhere. Reading Director of Football Nick Hammond told the club's website: "Things haven't quite worked out for Bobby recently, but he played a massive part in our record-breaking title-winning season in 2005/6 and consequently will always have a place in the club's history.

"We wish him all the best for his future career."

Early reports are indicating that Convey has several offers from Major League Soccer teams ahead of the start to the 2009 season.
