RB Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch says Erling Braud Haaland would be perfect for Liverpool.
Haaland left Salzburg for Borussia Dortmund in January and has scored 10 goals in 11 games.
Asked if he has been surprised by Haaland's impact in the German Bundesliga, Marsch told the Liverpool Echo's Blood Red podcast: "Not at all, not at all. He is a very special talent.
"If you were to just take his speed, explosiveness, size and our technical ability and finishing ability, he would immediately be in the upper echelon of players in the world.
Whatever you want to consider that. Then when you also consider his tactical intelligence, his motivation, his discipline, his desire to improve and grow and his work ethic...
"The combination means you have something very, very unique. I think this is again, we're only scratching the surface of the potential for Erling.
"I think he'll continue to do well at Dortmund. I'm not sure how long he'll be there before it'll be the next step for him as well.
"But he has potential to be one of the best players in the world, no doubt.
"It's another player Liverpool would be very lucky to have.
"He won't be cheap but he loves the explosive style of play, he loves being in open space and running behind defences and being aggressive in the box.
"He just, by theory, it fits the way Liverpool plays and he would be an incredible fit."
