RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner remains on the radar of Liverpool.

The London Evening Standard says Liverpool are looking at a deal for Werner.

The Germany international forward has long been linked with a transfer to the Reds, and Jurgen Klopp could see him as the perfect attacker to complement his new 4-2-3-1 system.

Werner is expected to leave RB Leipzig this summer, although Bayern Munich remain keen on signing him.

The 22-year-old has 23 caps for Germany, scoring nine goals.
