RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has no regrets choosing Chelsea over Bayern Munich.
Werner left RBL for Chelsea in 2020 and returned to Leipzig this past summer.
He said, "I think the way you go is always the right one in the end.
"So far I would have had two trainers with Bavaria who would have been very good for me: Hansi Flick, with whom I get along well. And Julian Nagelsmann, my former RB trainer. But I think it's good not to regret.
"Do not misjudge my time at Stamford Bridge.
"I finally won the Champions League at Chelsea. And privately I met a lot of great people, found friends. In the end, I was no longer part of the coach's plan at the time. You have to accept that and find a way for yourself to deal with it.“
