RB Leipzig management are becoming resigned to losing midfielder Marcel Sabitzer in 2021.
The Austria international has a contract to 2022 and in line for a new deal at RBL.
However, already on €6m-a-year, Sabitzer's new demands would break RBL's wage ceiling - so leaving them with the only option of selling the midfielder.
BILD says Tottenham are leading a queue of clubs keen on Sabitzer, with Manchester United also keen.
At Spurs, the Londoners are willing to offer Sabitzer a contract worth €8m-a-year.
The 26 year-old said last week: "The club once said that there would be no contract talks during the season. So I focus fully on a successful season and give no thought to what will happen at some point (in the future)."
