RB Leipzig fire legal warning at Leeds over Augustin transfer

RB Leipzig have fired a warning at Leeds United over Jean-Kévin Augustin's transfer collapse.

A January loan signing, Augustin's deal included a €21m permanent option should Leeds win promotion. However, the Premier League new-boys rejected the deal after going up.

RBL are now threatening legal action over the case, reports Sportbuzzer.

The club's commercial director Florian Scholz said that "the legal situation was clear" .

“Leeds are currently spending a lot of money in the transfer market but are failing to meet their contractual obligations. We are ready to take new measures," he declared.
