RB Leipzig defender Robin Koch is on Tottenham's radar.

The Daily Express says Tottenham target Koch is ready to leave Freiburg this summer with Jose Mourinho in the queue to secure his signature.

Koch's strong performances in the Bundesliga this season have done his reputation no harm and he's helped Freiburg stay on course for a top-half finish.

The 23-year-old defender, whose contract expires next summer, told Freiburg over the winter that he wouldn't be signing a new deal.

Koch's decision opened the door for RB Leipzig to slap in a £13m (€15m) bid back in January with only a last-minute intervention from manager Christian Streich stopping the switch from happening.

Long-term admirers Tottenham remain in the hunt for Koch, who made his senior Germany debut in a friendly against Argentina in October and is now ready to take the next step in his career.
