RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol is set to resist an offer from Tottenham.
The 20 year-old will reject a move to Spurs to commit to a new deal with RBL.
Although Gvardiol is set to sign a new contract, it will include a release clause worth more than £43million (€50m) which will at least leave the door open to a future move, says the Daily Mail.
The stopper has been watched by Spurs for a year since shining at the Euros with Croatia last summer.
However, he is now set to sign new terms with RBL, where he is assured of first-choice status and maintain his development.
