RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick is demanding Timo Werner make a final decision about signing new terms.
With just a year to run on his current deal with Leipzig, where he has plied his trade for almost three years, Werner could be on the move this summer.
And Rangnick has told the forward to put pen to paper on an extension or find another team.
“Our position is that if he does not renew the contract, he should change clubs," he said.
“He would first have to agree with a club and this club would have to contact RB, which has not happened to my knowledge."
The Reds are on the hunt for an out-and-out striker to offer an alternative to Roberto Firmino in attack.
