RB Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff is adamant they won't lose Timo Werner.

The Germany striker is a target for Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

But Mintzlaff says, "As of today, he is not for sale.

"We hope that we qualify for the Champions League. Timo can also take the next step with us.

"Clearly we showed why RB Leipzig is the right club for him."

He added: "We believe that with Julian (Nagelsmann) Timo can still make some progress."
