RB Leipzig sports chief Marcus Krosche admits they'll struggle to replace Timo Werner this summer.
Werner's move to Chelsea was confirmed yesterday.
Krosche said, “Obviously we would have liked to have kept Timo.
"He is a fantastic striker, with an exceptional average goals record and he has deserved this opportunity thanks to the performances provided in recent years.
"A player like Timo Werner cannot be immediately replaced and will leave a human and technical void. Our task now is to gradually fill this void.
"We wish Timo all the best for his new challenge and we can't wait to see him again on the international stage."
