RB Leipzig chief Markus Krosche has welcomed their deal for Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth.

RBL signed Sorloth on Tuesday with the Norway international penning a deal to 2025.

Krosche said, "In Alexander Sorloth we were able to pick up an absolute dream player for the attacking position. He is very present physically and good technically. He is a strong header and a good finisher.

"Alexander has all the skills that are important for our playing style. He has had a unique season in Turkey where he was able to prove his qualities as a goal scorer.

"We look forward to working together to achieve our goals for the season."
