RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann says Timo Werner wasn't needed for their Champions League win over Atletico Madrid.
The German has made the switch to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea look to bolster their attacking options.
With Atletico known for their dogged and deep-lying defence Nagelsmann revealed that Werner may have struggled.
He told BT Sport: "The opponents are not perhaps the best for Timo Werner because there's not a lot of space behind the defensive line.
"Today we decided to play with three offensive midfielders to create the spaces between the lines, and all the three midfielders did very well."
