RB Leipzig academy staff have visited Athletic Bilbao.

After the visits of SL Benfica and Toulouse FC, this week it has been some coaches from RB Leipzig who have come to Athletic Club's sports facilities to closely follow the working methodology used with the youth team.

The expedition was completed by Tim Kroemer (U16 Coach), Alexander Portleroy (U15 Coach), Dennis Bockelmann (U14 Coach), Rene Hoenisch (U12 Coach), Paul Klein (U7-U12 Coordinator), Robert Friedrich (Head of Physical Preparation), Nils Gatzmaga (Sports Psychologist) and Jan Schaefer (Head of U8-U14).

The visit consisted of several meetings and talks with the different people in charge of methodology, physical preparation, psychology and recruitment, among others. Andoni Ayarza, Assistant Director of Athletic Club's Sports Area, and Andoni Bombín, Head of Methodology at the Club, were in charge of facilitating the meetings and conferences. In addition, as a culmination, they have been able to witness several training sessions of Bilbao's youth teams.
