Rayo Vallecano president Martin Presa has announced Fran Garcia will move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

The former Real Madrid left-back as linked with a return last month.

And Presa says: "We have reached an agreement and Fran García will go there at the end of season.

"The behaviour of Real Madrid has been that of a noble club. It must be said. They could have done it now, especially due to (Ferland) Mendy's loss. Waiting has prevented him from going to Bayer Leverkusen, although it is true that it is also because of their interest because they know that he is a player who can contribute to them.

"I think Madrid is right because Fran is a player who is growing."
