British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe is still working to buy Manchester United in the coming months.

The INEOS owner is revamping the structure of his bid to ensure that it remains competitive.

Per Bloomberg, Sir Jim is ready to put in a new offer to try and steal a march on the Qatari royal family.

The petrochemicals magnate's idea of leaving some of the Glazer family in control at United had not gone down well.

He is now considering tweaking the bid to buy more of the club to assay shareholder fears.

Many were concerned that their shares, which are publicly traded, would not be bought by Ratcliffe.
