Marcus Rashford admits he doesn't want Jesse Lingard to leave Manchester United.

Lingard is wanted by West Ham, having just completed a successful six month loan.

Rashford told manutd.com: "It was something that was a bit strange in the beginning, him not being around the building and stuff. But we're FaceTiming all the time and when we can see each other, then we do.

"To be honest, I'm just happy to see he's happy again and he's doing well on the pitch and smiling again. I think, as a friend, that is what is more important – just to see him back to being his normal self.

"Hopefully now, he can carry that on and come back to us and do the same."
