Raphinha has asked Leeds United to sell him to Barcelona.

Sport says Raphinha has made a transfer request to Leeds to push through a move to Barca.

Everyone inside Leeds knows what he wants. He has a contract until 2024 but a deal with Barcelona now exists to sign, if the clubs can agree a fee.

The Brazilian has been playing under pressure to try and keep Leeds up, while knowing if they go down he has a €25m release clause.

His professionalism has been beyond question and that may help now he wants to leave. His wild celebration with the fans upon staying up shows the effort he put in.

However now he considers his time in the Premier League over and he wants to come to Barcelona.

Raphinha will link up with Dani Alves in the Brazil squad for games in Kora and Japan.

Barcelona made a €35m bid for him in March which was rejected. Now they have to negotiate again.
