Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri says he wants to see a reaction from Riyad Mahrez against West Ham, after dropping the winger on Boxing Day, reports Sky Sports.
Last season's PFA Player of the Year was dropped to the bench for the first time since October 2015 for the defeat to Everton, coming on for the final 26 minutes, but will return to the starting line-up for the visit of West Ham on Saturday.
"I watched him during training last week and he was a little tired," said Ranieri. "At 10 v 11 at Stoke [a gutsy 2-2 draw with 10 men] he worked hard, so I decided to give him rest.
"He will play the next match and I want to see a reaction, I wait to see a reaction."
