Ranieri: Inter Milan's Croatians can shock Liverpool

Claudio Ranieri believes Inter Milan wing-back Ivan Perisic will be key in tonight's Champions League clash with Liverpool.

Inter host the first-leg of the round of 16 tie.

Ranieri said: "The Reds are very good, but they need something more in the Champions League as there are also Manchester City and Chelsea, taking into account that one between Real Madrid and PSG will be eliminated.

"Today nothing is decided because Inter's Croatians can hurt (Jurgen) Klopp's team: (Ivan) Perisic is in great shape and knows how to attack, (Marcelo) Brozovic is the man who sets the tempo.

"For me (Simone) Inzaghi has a 50% chance."

Ranieri also told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "I know Klopp well. In addition to being very good, he is very helpful and also knows how to communicate. Inzaghi, on the other hand, is working in a fantastic way. After the excellent (Antonio) Conte, he has released his imagination.

"In Serie A he is ahead of everyone for tactics, but in the Premier League there is more technique and intensity."
