Former RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick has urged Timo Werner to reject a move to Liverpool.

Rangnick, now Red Bull football director, has used Naby Keita's example in a bid to try and ward Werner against a move to Liverpool.

“Keita was an outstanding player here, but he's still struggling at Liverpool," he told Sky Deutschland.

“So far, he's not the player there that he was here.

“The surroundings must be right for Timo. That's the case here."
