Former Hoffenheim coach Ralf Rangnick stands by his criticism of AC Milan and their January deal for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
After a move to Milan fell through for Rangnick, he went public criticising the club's transfer policy, particularly signing 38 year-old striker Ibrahimovic.
He told the FT yesterday: "It's not about me or the fact that I don't like Ibrahimovic.
"Why shouldn't I like him? At 38 he is still in great shape. He can still be decisive in winning games. But the question is: which path do you want to take? What is Milan?
"For me, Ibrahimovic's signature at the time it was a contradiction in itself, due to the strategy they wanted to follow."
