Manchester United could be looking to sign RB Leipzig midfielder Amadou Haidara in the winter.
The Red Devils are very close to appointing German coach Ralf Rangnick as interim boss until the rest of the season.
Rangnick will then take on an advisory role within the footballing structure for another two years.
According to the Mirror, Rangnick is an admirer of Haidara, and knows that the Mali international is a fan of the Red Devils.
The player has a £33 million release clause, and may add fresh energy and impetus to United's central midfield if signed.
