Rangers have banked an extra £1million thanks to former academy star Billy Gilmour's success with Chelsea and Scotland.
The 20-year-old is expected to join Norwich City on a season-long loan this week.
Chelsea are hoping Gilmour will blossom with a full year of Premier League football under his belt.
The diminutive midfielder moved to London from Rangers for an initial £500,000 back in 2017 when he had just turned 16.
And the Scottish Sun says Gilmour's rise as Stamford Bridge has earned his former club a significant amount of money. The cash windfall is a major boost for Rangers, who will hope to defend their Scottish Premier League title next season
