Rangers have rejected an offer from Turkish club Bursaspor for full-back Steven Whittaker.
SunSport has revealed that the Turks, who already pilfered Kenny Miller in January, came in with a bid of £450,000 for the 26-year old Scotland international.
'Gers told Bursa' that Whittaker is not for sale but it is believed the former Hibernian man is contemplating the move as he could treble his weekly salary in Turkey.
The Scottish champions are expecting a return bid from Bursa' who know that Whittaker has just 12 months left on his contract and feel that the Glasgow giants may fold if the offer is good enough.
