Manchester United winger Amad's loan spell with Rangers could be about to end prematurely.

The United youngster made a late cameo in Rangers' resounding 4-0 win over St. Mirren on Sunday but saw a gilt-edged opportunity go begging - that was just his fourth appearance for Rangers.

Amad's loan spell started brightly after scoring the opener on his debut in a 3-3 draw with Ross County, but since then the move hasn't gone to plan.

Football Insider says he could be on his way back to Old Trafford before the end of the season.
