Rangers target Solanke intimates he wants Liverpool stay

Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has intimated he wants to stay after their 0-0 draw at friendly opponents Bury.

Solanke is a target for Rangers, but he is aiming to take a step forward in terms of both appearances and goal return.

He told liverpoolfc.com: "I've got my first goal now so obviously [I want to] build on that, get as many as I can this season and keep improving and help the team as much as I can."

The striker is also excited by the potential uplift provided by club's new signings, such as midfield duo Fabinho and Naby Keita.

He continued: "It always gives you a boost, bringing news players in to help the squad. We had a really good run last year so hopefully they can help us a lot this year."
