Rangers suffered a near terminal blow to their hopes in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Steven Gerrard's side lost 3-1 at home to Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of their round of 16 clash.
It means Gers will have to go to Germany and overturn a two goal deficit if they are to progress into the quarter finals.
Leon Bailey gave Leverkusen the cushion of a comfortable win late in this clash.
The Germans were dominant for most of the game, with Kai Havertz scoring a penalty to open the scoring.
They eventually made it 2-0 through Charles Aranguiz, before Gers got a goal back.
However, Bailey got the third goal with a stunning finish to give his team breathing space for the second leg.
