Rangers skipper McCulloch: Players have to take responsibility

Lee McCulloch is under no illusions that the Rangers players themselves have to take care of the teams results.

There has been reports of fighting within the Ibrox dressing room as the Glasgow giants deal with an uncharacteristic poor start to the season in Scotland's Third Division.

Ahead of tonight's Scottish Communities League Cup third round clash with Motherwell, 'Gers skipper McCulloch suggests it is now time for the playing group to band together and produce the required result for the famous fallen club.

"There are things that have gone on in the dressing room which we don't want to discuss in public," McCulloch said.

"But the boys aren't happy at how things have gone. Whether there are arguments or fights, everything will stay in the dressing room.

"One thing for sure is that the lads know the results have not been acceptable. But collectively we need to take responsibility."
