Rangers boss Ally McCoist is believed to be again looking at St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson according to SunSport.
The 24-year old has already been a target for the Ibrox club who are pondering making a January move for the emerging star who comes out of contract at the end of the season.
Rangers made a £150,000 bid for Davidson in the summer and may return to St Johnstone with a similar bid this winter or wait and try to get him on a free when his contract expires.
